All the scarves and items are individually made from off-the-roll silk fabric.

Silk Scarves

The long scarves are approximately 170cm x35cm (66"x13") these hang with a drop of about 67cm over each shoulder, or with plenty of drape. A particular feature of these scarves is the curved ends. I mainly use a smooth or sandwashed satin silk or the more uneven, but interesting, dupion silk (see the Archangel Gallery scarves).

Silk Squares

The small 'handkerchief' squares are made from taffeta silk, which is quite lightweight but not as fragile as habutai or pongee. These would be ideal to carry for Colour meditation, or to use to set out inspirational cards and crystals. Or, just as a simple top-pocket gift. The vibrancy of the coloured silk accepts mixing and matching.

Other Items

I have been asked to supply taffeta cloths of other sizes: 50cm square for Tarot layout and 30cm x 60cm for shelf display. If you have a particular size or shape please ask.

I designed my own 'crystal pocket' to protect a special crystal I wished to carry around with me. You can share the pleasure of touching silk, seeing the colour and knowing your precious crystal is safe.

For the gents who would like to wear Angelsilk Colour, I also produce hand coloured ties, with processes similar to the coloured scarves and/or with photo inspired artwork .

The handmade packaging is made to suit the item(s) and could be incorporated into quirky 'gift cards' .

Care of Silk

• Silk is a natural fabric and with a little care it can be kept nice for a long time.
• Don’t use harsh or bio- detergents.
• Wash gently by hand and rinse thoroughly.
• Remove excess moisture with a towel.
• Smooth with cool dry iron while damp.
• Allow to dry naturally.

Prices

Costs start at 60p plus postage for crystal pockets ( I can supply small crystals at additional charge, but you may prefer to select your own). Small silk squares: £5. The standard Colour scarves range from £30 plus postage dependent upon size and choice of silk fabric.

Colours

Actual colours may differ from those depicted on this website. However each item is individually coloured using a variety of painting and dying techniques with unique results. Because of this there is no specific standard (except for the quality). I have the freedom and I will endeavour to meet your requirements.
